We were taken by surprise when we where given an old car while visiting friends in Massachusetts. An internet search came up with SeaKargo and an enquiry led to a prompt quotation which we accepted. We were kept in touch throughout the importation process and all went smoothly.
A minor glitch came on delivery - despite warnings about our road being unsuitable for HGVs our car arrived on a 42ft lorry. It took an hour to unload it and another half hour to get the lorry away down the twisty road.
But taken altogether well done and thank you.

We had a unfortunate issue in the USA plus they had to change ports and ships so the BSA Spitfire was a little late leaving. The US emails were a little slow with there replies. Once it had set sail and I started dealing with the U.K. Office it went very efficiently all the way to there storage facility. The only gripe there was your limited to during the week for pick ups but the weekend is included in storage time so I had to pay a full days storage even though it was only the morning.
Other than that it went quite well and I will use them again for my next import.

Overall very happy with the service and was a smooth process. Only niggle was that I had to chase up who the shipping agent was at destination as I had been given no information of who and where I needed to go to pay relevant customs/import fees. If I hadn't of asked I would been wondering around the port lost! Would still use again in future.
I really liked the service,but please in future can your office advice or tell it's customers how and where they want their bill of lading to be sent,as some of us are new in shipping things aboard. Once again I'm so thankful to you all as a company for how you dealt with first shipment and keep up your good work.God bless and thanks you.

It wasn't the easiest of tasks to accomplish, but in the end we got it to work. First, for the payment process, we had issues because my credit card was an American card and luckily I had a British account to transfer the funds for payment, but I think using a PayPal payment system would help or work best for SeaKargo given you have customers all over the world who may not have that specific card your system accepts.
Thanks for helping us ship our vehicle from the UK to the U.S. It was a bit of an adventure, but the vehicle made it here with some minor delays at the port for customs and arriving at the final destination. One thing that would help your team out is if you use my case as a continuity training item on what is required for shipping a vehicle to the U.S. It seemed there were a few emails that could've been avoided if everything was requested in the original or second email. This would avoid confusion/frustration/delays for both parties. The driver who picked our vehicle up even though he contacted me throughout which was good, was 6.5 hours later than the original show time. I understand being delayed maybe 2 hours, but not 6.5 for driving from London to Huntingdon. The driver didn't appear to be 100% conscious of what was going on and almost didn't fill out the vehicle check sheet for scratches/dings. If you guys could have better info for when a vehicle is picked up/delivered to locations, it would help better to include the customs time, etc. Thinking that the vehicle was going to arrive in 17 days had us tailor our holiday around when the vehicle would arrive, when it didn't arrive for another 2 weeks. For the stateside delivery, our vehicle arrived in country 22 June and was awaiting customs 24 June and it would take 3-5 days for release. After paying the invoice 28 June when the Trans Glal company who was delivering the vehicle, they told me with the 4th of July holiday, I shouldn't expect it until after the holiday. I called the dispatcher and asked him directly why would I have to wait 8-10 days after payment to receive my vehicle, and his response was that the location I live is a bit out of the way and it's hard to find drivers coming to this area. I told him I didn't care and that if someone pays something in full, they should receive that item faster than this. Not trying to make it seem like I'm whining or displeased with the service, just voicing a few concerns, and with the price we paid I am overall happy with the outcome as there wasn't any noticeable damage to the vehicle. Great service, quick response to questions with clear answers. Would highly recommend service. I shipped a car using roll on roll off from Liverpool to Halifax, no problems.

Cannot fault SeaKargo! Being new to importing, my husband and I had little idea of what was involved. We were recommended SeaKargo & I'm so pleased we went with the recommendation. Good, clear information all the way along. Polite, helpful service. If we ever import again, we will be using SeaKargo!

We have just shipped all our personal items to Gambia and cannot fault Sea Kargo, their courier arrived exactly on time to collect the goods and was able to track the vessel all the way to the port. Never shipped anything this far before and everyone was so helpful and answered what must have seemed as daft questions, thank you Sea Kargo will be recommending you to everyone who requires to ship anything abroad.

I shipped my furniture from my home to Ireland. the driver was great to help me. to bring down my furniture with me. the staff at seakargo was always there to answer any questions and guide through the process. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. A great business.
